Adaptive fitness training - to improve/maintain overall mobility, strength, endurance, flexibility. Plans are developed to optimize your function, adapt exercise, educate on equipment, and meet your needs to allow you to integrate exercise into your life to meet your fitness goals.
Adaptive performance training/coaching - to educate and improve skills, fitness, and/or performance in a particular sport or activity. We work to understand the specific physiological and biomechanical demands of adaptive sports and daily activity for people with disabilities, and we will develop training programs to help you meet your goals. Physical Therapy:
Breaking Barriers Physical Therapy and Adaptive Performance is a private pay concierge Physical Therapy company. There are no hidden fees and pricing is transparent, so there are no surprises. We can provide Good Faith estimates for services. Private pay is often more affordable and removes the barriers and challenges of using insurance companies. This allows us to directly serve you.
To provide this kind of service, we do not contract with private insurances, HMOs, Medicare, or Medicaid at this time. We are considered out-of-network with commercial insurance companies and can provide a superbill to you for the health care services rendered that you can then submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement (check your benefits regarding this). There is an exception with Medicare and Medicaid, so please reach out to us specifically if you have either of these insurances.
Benefits to cash pay:
Freedom and flexibility to individualized treatment options and scheduling.
Ability to go beyond the clinic and meet you where your goals are best suited for treatment.
Direct contact with your physical therapist.
Transparent billing, no surprises.
No longer having to worry about visit limitations, authorizations, and being cut off with what insurance deems as functional enough.
